Spring Seva Yoga Series

Please join me for this 6-class Series!

Minimum suggested donation of $10 per class. All proceeds to be donated to Almost Home Animal Rescue League.

This Michigan based 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based,100% No-Kill rescue is absolutely AMAZING! It was created by a mother/daughter duo on a mission! They, along with their volunteers and fosters are passionate about saving lives and truly go above and beyond!

I had the pleasure of adopting my sweet fur baby Io from AHARL last year after saying goodbye to my senior girls Sagan (16) and Sinope (15).  Although there is only room in my budget now to adopt one pet... Will you help me to sponsor the rescue of another?

Io will be making a guest appearance on the first day of class as I share the story of her long arduous journey from abuse and neglect at the Texas/Mexico border all the way to Dexter Michigan to step into her new role of Queen of the Couch and Keeper of my Heart!

I would also like to express my most sincere gratitude to Hope Siasoco, Director of the Pinckney Community Library for graciously allowing me the space and support to make this dream come true!

If you are considering a new pet - please check out AHARL's website and/or facebook page to see all of the wonderful adoptable animals looking for a forever home!

What is Seva Yoga?

Seva (“say-vah”) Yoga is the Yoga of Selfless Service. As a practice, Seva stems from two branches of Yoga: Karma Yoga (Yoga of Action) and Bhakti Yoga (Devotion inspired by Divine Love). Seva comes from the Sanskrit words, “saha” meaning “with that” and “eva” meaning “also” which helps us take our focus away from ourselves and extends it out into the Grand Collective that is Community.

2024 Workshops
with Crysterra Wellness

Yoga w/Reflexology &

Yoga w/Reiki Lithotherapy

Experience the profoundly synergistic healing benefits of pairing

Yoga w/Reflexology and Yoga w/Reiki Lithotherapy!

In these monthly workshops we will explore the healing possibilities of combining Yoga with Reflexology and Reiki Lithotherapy.  We will rotate between modalities with a focus on common issues such as stress/anxiety relief, insomnia, physical/emotional support and more.

Reflexology is an ancient healing modality that deals with the principal that nerve endings in the feet and hands correspond to all glands, organs, regions and systems of the body. When stress, toxins and illness are present, the natural flow of energy is compromised and manifests as congestion in the corresponding reflex points and dis-ease within the body.

Reiki (laying-on of hands) is a Japanese relaxation technique for stress reduction and relaxation that can also promote profound healing.  It is administered by the practitioner gently placing the hands on or just above the energy meridians of the body. The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words - Rei  which means  “divine or higher power" and Ki which means “life force energy". So Reiki  translates to: “divinely guided life force energy.”

Lithotherapy (laying-on of stones) is the use of purpose specific crystals within the body’s energy field. Ancient cultures all over the world have utilized the metaphysical properties of sacred stones for energetic, spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing.
